The company is rolling out Kickstart, a fruit-flavored Mountain Dew drink it promises will offer “a fresh alternative to the age-old morning question of ‘coffee or juice.’”
The 80-calorie drink, available in stores beginning Feb. 25, will come in orange citrus and fruit punch flavors and will contain 5% fruit juice and Vitamins B and C.
The beverage also comes with an ample dose of caffeine — about 90 milligrams in each 16-ounce can — which puts it above the 72 milligrams in a similarly sized Mountain Dew.
